MY TRUE STORY
It all started with a wonderful dance workshop & show that my good friends Ben and Crystal put on twice a year called 2some dance. It’s a weekend filled with classes for Latin and Ballroom dance lovers. My (now) fiancé and I are always there and help out any way we can. My fiancé, Corey, informed me that Crystal asked him to perform in their evening show! I was so excited and asked him "what’s the performance??" He said it was top secret and NOONE was allowed to know - not even Ben, who is the founder of the dance event!
Of course I was immediately intrigued and wanted to know more. Any chance I had I tried to find out information – Let’s just say that Corey and Crystal were very good at keeping their little secret. The night of the show had arrived and I was very excited and proud of Corey. I couldn’t wait to see his big performance!
Crystal put together a hilarious spoof on “Cell Block Tango” from the Musical/Movie “Chicago”, her version is called “Cellulite Tango”. She choreographed and re-wrote the lyrics, then recorded the song with her, her mom, her sister & Corey. Corey was the final solo, and at the end, he proposed to me in front of 300 people. Talk about confidence and extremely creative!
